REPOST to clarify.
Legit players were and are safe anyway and anyhow; spoofers used to be safe while bots were targeted.
Now, spoofers are hit aswell! This is the very first time since PoGo release!
EDIT: reports confirm that slashes are progressively spreading; some spoofers are desperate, others feel safe. I'll update when I receive news.
EDIT 2: a mate sent me
this...someone has been hit quite hard!
EDIT 3:
partial chat
Some spoofed accounts/mons seem safe. Slashes seem hitting progressively. Maybe this isn't a definitive solution, maybe it doesn't hit neither every spoofed poké nor every account, but to see their best/majority pokes/accounts slashed is still a great win! (IMO)
EDIT 4:
this seems confirming slashes for manually sniped mons aswell. Anyway, not every poké have been detected yet; the mostly affected ones are Lax, Lapras, and Blissey; high CP ones; the ones caught "uncarefully".
EDIT 5: woke up with these 2 chat screenshots:
non-botted, only spoofed, being caught ;
HONEY POT seems out there! . The source said that none of these have ever used any bot or another program/app requiring login credentials!
As I said in a reply: spoofers who play legit-like are not affected by this; the ones who seem affected mostly are players who caught "uncarefully": this should refer to players forcing cooldown time, distance, softban, etc. Maybe not a definite solution, still a new step into managing the problem!
